Yes! We've heard too many stories about passengers spending more money to get home from the bus stop than the entire bus trip. With Door<To>Door you'll get discounted rates and share the cost with fellow passengers.
By grouping riders together and finding the most efficient routes, our technology helps to minimize carbon emissions compared to other modes of transportation, including personal taxis, shared taxis or getting a ride with someone else.

Yes! We will coordinate the two parts of the trip. If you are on time for the taxi but it gets stuck in traffic (or any other delay), the bus will wait at the stop for you before departing.
What precautions are being taken for safety and health, in light of COVID? The same safety procedures that have been implemented on bus trips are in effect for the taxi part of the journey.
No. You have to book a Door<To>Door ride separately from the bus booking. Once done, you'll receive an email confirmation.

OurBus Door<To>Door is available for all OurBus passengers that begin or end their ride at the Seneca Street stop in Ithaca. In the future, we plan to expand coverage.
You can expect a minivan from ID Ride. A text message one hour before your pick-up will provide the exact make, model, and color of the vehicle along with driver details.
You'll be able to track the exact location and ETA of your Door<To>Door ride through the link in the SMS, starting from about 15 minutes before pick up.
Additionally, the confirmation email will contain your pick up location. If you are arriving in Ithaca, it will be near 130 East Seneca Street, where the bus drops you off. If you are departing from Ithaca, it will be at the address you enter when booking the Door<To>Door ride.
Yes, OurBus Door<To>Door is only for passengers of OurBus so we'll make sure that your ride is there for you when the bus arrives.
Yes, some vehicles can accommodate wheelchairs and passengers with accessibility needs. After booking your Door<To>Door ride, email pr@ourbus.com at least 48 hours in advance with your reference number and we'll make sure you have an accessible vehicle pick you up.
Through the technology that we use, we can coordinate multiple passenger bookings to be fulfilled by a single shared taxi. Individually, each passenger would have to book a solo taxi, which has a higher monetary and environmental cost. By sharing rides, we can reduce the cost and pass much of that savings on to the passenger.
Currently, Door<To>Door rides are limited to 5 miles around the Seneca Street stop. This applies to both trips to the stop and from the stop. In the future, this may be expanded.
You will get a notification to book a cab on the bus ticket confirmation page in case you are eligible to book Door<To>Door.
You can also book it through your passes once you have booked a bus ticket.
You can book till 2 hours before your ride.
Yes. If you cancel your bus ticket, your cab will be automatically canceled.
Yes. You can pay for your cab ride by either using wallet money or by card.
